7 months

This is how I get around (rolling):

This is my newest smile - straight across and usually biting down on my two bottom teeth.

I like to explore the limits of my play area... like the TV stand.
the books on the coffee table are fun to pull down and spread all over the place... and chew on.
My high chair is so cool.

An incentive for mommy to keep the floors really clean.
I'm checking to see if mommy cleaned the floors.
My first vacation to Santa Barbara. I had so much fun!!

I love swimming.

6 months

Lauren at the park

She now sleeps on her tummy most of the time. I lay her down on her side and she eventually rolls to the tummy positon.
At the Americana in Glendale.
I love her feet.

First experience with solid food (sweet potato puree).

With my dear friend Stephanie Sanderson and her sweet daughter Susie.

Finally, Lauren seems to have settled into a regular schedule with longer naps and easier bedtimes. I'm so relieved... for now... I know things constantly change.

New at 6+months:
* a tooth (bottom right)
* rolling onto her tummy at night
* rolling back to front, front to back and trying hard to crawl
* splashing in her bathtub
* loves dogs (gets super excited to see them during our stroller walks)
* squeals and does a few fist pumps when daddy gets home from work
* loves water - lakes, pools (went swimming for the first time in Uncle Greg and Aunt Vicki's pool)
* went on first 'camping' trip in an RV at Shaver Lake
* started solid foods (just a few bites for now... sweet potato, sweet green peas, zucchini, apple)
* attended her first 'play class' at St. Joe's Mommy wise class... she was so into the bubbles, story time, music time and parachute game

She is off the charts for weight (20+ pounds) and 90% for height (forgot the number)... she is a big baby! I have to carry her around! Yes, my back is starting to hurt now and I pray it holds up for another pregnancy sometime in the future, Lord willing.

The biggest relief for me is that Lauren is now nursing so much easier (less fussiness and wiggling around) and going down for naps so much easier (9am and 1pm - usually 1.5 or 2 hours... sometimes 3 hours long). She doesn't need the 3rd nap anymore (most of the time).
